New Website...

I finished designing a new website for my boss today--Jon Feingersh Photography. It was nice to have complete control over the design, not to say that my design kicks ass; however, I am quite pleased with it. Also, an image I shot is featured on the website. I hope the photo agency will add it to their collection. One more thing, the website loads kind of slow that because Arishost sucks. Their server is freaking slow. I am switching my boss's site to GoDaddy.

Pan-Fried Noodle and Chicken Tenders For Dinner

Tonight, I experimented something different: Pan-fried egg noodle with chicken tenders. I marinated chicken tenders with chopped garlic, chili pepper, basil and cilantro spices, a dash of fish sauce and soy sauce. I cooked the noodle in boiling water and then pan fried with garlic, chili pepper and scallion. I then fried chicken tenders until golden brown on both sides. It was not a bad dish. I liked it. Oh, and dessert was Ben and Jerry: New York Super Fudge Chunk (my favorite).

Banh Hoi Chao Tom (thin vermicelli served with grilled shrimp paste on sugar cane)

Took a drive to Northern Virginia for lunch today. Nice to have 3-day weekend. Unbelievable, it's 2006! Anyway, went to Huong Viet as usual. They make decent food here. I ordered Banh Hoi Chao Tom. God knows since when I had this dish. It was delicious. What you would do is: you take banh trang (thin rice wrapper moisten with water); put it on the plate; then add thin vermicelli, grilled shrimp paste and some mint leaves; wrap it tightly and voila.

Wish there were more Vietnamese restaurants like Huong Viet here in Maryland. There are too many mediocre mom n' pop restaurants around here giving Vietnamese cuisine a bad name.
