It Was Nice To Get Away

I am back from my 3 week trip to Czech Republic, Croatia and Italy. I was somewhat exhausted towards the end of the trip--lots of walking around, getting up very early, standing in the rain and dealing with a handful of cold days. Having said that, I think I've got some good photos from over 1200 shots I took. It was nice to work with the Canon 5D. I really enjoyed using it--light, big screen and almost 13MP. It burned a hole in my wallet though.

Besides from taking pictures, I tried to absorb the cultures as much as I can. I ate good food. I met many nice and some not so nice local people along the way. The important thing is: It was nice to get away. It may not be good for me physically but mentally, I feel braver and a little bit wiser. I can't wait to travel again soon.

Well, I need to go and nurse my cold.
